Create a Location
Locations are the places where your events happen. Create a location before creating events.
In the app, click on Locations in the sidebar menu.
Click the + Add Location button to create a new location.
Click Save to create your location. You can now use it when creating events.
Create an Event
Events are the conferences, meetings, or broadcasts where you need multilingual interpretation.
In the app, click on Events in the sidebar menu.
Click the + Create Event button to start setting up your event.
Click Save to create the event. Next, you'll add languages to it.
Add Languages
Languages are the channels your listeners will choose from. Add all the languages you need for your event.
Click on Languages in the sidebar, or open your event and go to the Languages tab.
Click + Add Language and fill in the details:
Add all the languages you need. For example, if you have a conference with English, Spanish, and French interpretation, add all three.
Audio Sources
Audio sources capture the original sound from your event (the speakers, microphones, etc.).
Click on Sources in the sidebar menu.
Click + Add Source and configure:
Speak into the microphone and check that the audio level meter responds. Adjust the volume if needed.
Add Interpreters
Interpreters are the people who translate the audio into different languages in real-time.
Click on Users or Interpreters in the sidebar menu.
Click + Add User and fill in:
Give the interpreter their username, password, and the server address so they can connect.
Interpreter Login
How interpreters connect to your event and start interpreting.
Share your local IP address with the interpreter (found in the Server section of your app). It looks like: 192.168.1.100
The interpreter enters the server address in their web browser and sees the login page.
Using the username and password you created, they log in and see their interpreter panel.
The interpreter can hear the floor audio (original speaker) and speak into their microphone. Their translation goes to their assigned language channel.
Start the Server
Starting the server makes your event live and ready for listeners.
Click on Server in the sidebar menu.
You will see your computer's Local IP Address displayed (e.g., 192.168.1.100). This is what you'll share with listeners and interpreters.
Click the Start Server button. The status will change to green, showing the server is running.
Your event is now broadcasting. Interpreters and listeners can connect using your IP address.
Monitor Your Event
Keep track of your event while it's running.
While your event is running, you can see:
- Listener Count - How many people are connected in real time
- Language Breakdown - How many listeners per language channel
- Interpreter Status - Who is connected and active
- AI Channel Status - Active AI translation channels and their health
- Audio Levels - Visual meters showing audio activity
During the event you can:
- Adjust volume levels for any channel
- Mute or unmute channels
- Enable or disable recording
When finished, click Stop Server to end the broadcast. Listeners will be disconnected.
AI Real-Time Translation
Use AI to automatically translate and dub your event audio into 30+ languages in real time - no human interpreters needed.
Start your server and go to the Broadcaster page. You will see the AI Translation panel on the side.
Click + Add AI Source and configure:
Click the Start button on your AI source. The AI pipeline will:
- Listen to the floor audio in real time
- Convert speech to text automatically
- Translate the text to the target language
- Generate natural-sounding audio in the target language
- Stream it as a new language channel for listeners
You can add multiple AI language channels at the same time. Each one runs independently, so you can start and stop individual languages without affecting the others.
While AI translation is running, you can see:
- Status Badge - Shows if the channel is active, starting, or has an error
- Elapsed Time - How long the AI translation has been running
- Usage Stats - Characters processed and estimated cost
Live Subtitles
When AI translation is active, listeners can see real-time subtitles in both the original and translated languages.
When AI translation is running, subtitles are generated automatically. No extra setup is required.
Listeners on an AI-translated channel will see:
- Translated Subtitles - The translated text in their selected language
- Original Text - The original transcript from the speaker
- Real-Time Updates - Subtitles appear as the speaker talks, with partial results that refine as more context is captured
Listeners can toggle subtitles on or off from their player controls. The subtitle overlay appears at the bottom of the audio player with a smooth animated display.
Recording
Record your event audio for each language channel to create archives and share after the event.
While your event is live, go to the Monitor section. You will see a Record button for each language channel.
Click the Record button on the channels you want to capture. A red indicator will show that recording is active.
You can record multiple channels simultaneously - for example, record both the Floor audio and all interpretation channels.
Click the Stop button to end recording. The audio file is saved automatically to your local recordings folder.
Recordings are stored locally on your computer. You can find them in the application's recordings directory and share them as needed.
